Dr. Seng is a board-certified, fellowship trained othopedic surgeon who specializes in Adult Reconstruction of the hip and knee. He has extensive experience in minimally invasive techniques such as the Direct Anterior Hip Replacement, Partial Knee Replacement and minimally invasive total knee replacement. These procedures are performed in ways that allow the patient to up and walking with a few short hours of surgery, with most patients going home the same day as their surgery. He also performs revision hip and knee replacements, treats infected joint replacements and manages fractures around hip and knee replacements.
Dr. Seng aims to provide patient centered care that incorporates the patient into the plan of treatment. Many patients may be treated for their arthritis with nonsurgical options that include exercises, weight loss (for which we work with the weight loss program at Northside Hospital Cherokee), medications, injections (such as steroid or the lubricating injections knows as viscosupplementation) and bracing. Dr. Seng also performs knee arthroscopy as a "clean-out" procedure for those with torn meniscus.
